From Comas to God’s Calling
Surviving critical brain traumas 8 days apart at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
Married on September 4th, 2026, launching the Hope in Healing ministry.
In October 2018, Zach collapsed on the football field at Hill-Murray with a critical brain bleed. Just eight days later, Isabelle suffered a traumatic head injury in a car wreck. Both underwent emergency craniectomies and medically induced comas at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
Where the world saw tragedy, God saw purpose. As Zach emerged from his coma, his family offered encouragement to Isabelle’s family in the waiting rooms. Months later, they met in person for the very first time.
Years later, that shared testimony blossomed into friendship, profound love, and an engagement right back inside the hospital atrium where their survival began. On September 4, 2026, they married surrounded by loved ones.
